Resilience in complex environments
Each project and site comes with its own challenges and restrictions, some more than others, which is why we thrive in delivering even in the most complex environments.
Our team thrive in challenging environments, putting our knowledge and experience to the test to find solutions that enable us to deliver to our expected high standards. This allows us to carry out extensive works that are considerate of potentially sensitive environments, on sites with restricted access or space, or environments with external impacting factors.
Whether it’s carrying out thorough pre site evaluations, employing the most suitable machinery, deploying short term project structures to prevent impact, or creating tailored project timelines to ensure limited contact with external factors, we manage each project and it’s unique challenges effectively.

Our initial project involved us carrying out extensive river restoration in order to develop a rich biodiversity, and as a result supporting the commercial fishing on site.
Find out moreThis project looked to carry out restoration works on a stretch of the River Itchen in order to improve natural light and consequently the habitats and biodiversity. This was a good example of delivering a project within a complex environment with the limited space that sometimes comes with working in a natural and wild environment.
find out moreSometimes historical or existing structures can prevent an environment in flourishing. This project involved us carefully working to restore a stretch of the River Test whilst effectively managing the limited access and space due to adjoining properties.
Find out moreThis project looked to renovate a bridge in a village over the River Itchen. It required careful project management with the restricted location and existing structural design, whilst maintaining the character, high quality, and delivering an innovative solution.
Find out moreEnvironments can sometimes degrade over time, and this project worked with a number of partners in order to improve and encourage European Eel habitats. We worked to restore historical fish stews and the existing channels, overcoming a range of challenges on a site that had a variety of ground levels and was largely unmanaged.
find out moreThis project included extensive landscaping and construction of bespoke aquatic solutions whilst negotiating a complex environment of narrow, steep, and overgrown working conditions.
